Kunta revient avec un nouveau single « Anything Goes ».

Le groupe livre un morceau influencé par le rap/rock des années 90 des Beastie Boys ou encore de Rage Against The Machine.

Habitué aux thématiques engagées ainsi qu’aux collaborations (Sir Jean, LMK, Climène Zarkan...), Kunta revient seul cette fois, avec un morceau plus instinctif qu’à l’accoutumée, et célèbre l’amitié et la liberté qui caractérise ce combo Lyonnais.

La rythmique et les cuivres déroule une tourne à l’énergie intense et enivrante sur laquelle se pose des textes segmentés comme de minis-refrains pour mieux complimenter l’énergie de la track.

Habitué aux mélanges des genres, Yovan, le rappeur qui se décrit fièrement et non sans ironie comme du « gâchis » - ayant quitté le violon classique et le conservatoire, pour faire du rap avec ses amis - clame haut et fort qu’ils sont à des kilomètres de ce qui se fait et qu’avec eux tout est possible « Anything Goes » .

La vidéo qui accompagne le single témoigne également de cet état d’esprit, du fun avec une certaine exigence.

Avec ce titre, Kunta veut mettre en avant le virage opéré depuis l’élaboration du nouvel album à venir, tant dans la densité du son que dans les sujets abordés.

Kunta are back with a new single « Anything Goes ».

This time, the group delivers a track influenced by the rap/rock of the 90s, somewhere between the Beasties Boys and
Rage Against The Machine.

Accustomed to political commitment as well as collaborations (Sir Jean, LMK, Climene Zarkan...), Kunta come back on their own this time, with a more instinctive track than usual, and they celebrate the friendship and freedom that define this Lyon-based combo.

The rhythmic and the horns unroll a groove with intense and infectious energy, on which the lyrics come segmented as mini-choruses to better compliment the track's power.

Accustomed to mixing genres, Yovan, the rapper who proudly and self-ironically describes himself as « havoc » - after dropping classical violin studies in the conservatory in order to rap with his friends - proclaims loud and clear that they are miles away from mainstream productions and that everything is possible with them « Anything Goes ».

The video that accompanies the single also reflects this state of mind, i.e. loads of fun with a sense of expertise.

With this track, Kunta wish to highlight the turn they took since the development of the new album to come, both in terms of sound density and topics evoked.

A group that asserts itself and gains in efficiency. « Anything Goes » is the evidence of that.
